Hydrozone: Hydrozoning is the landscape/irrigation mehod of separating landscape irrigation zones into areas of similar plants based on watering needs. For example, trees would be all grouped on one irrigation zone. This is a water and plant saving method of designing irrigation systems. Trees prefer long infrequent waterings as flowering annuals prefer frequent short watering. Grass may need supplement watering every days and native plants may need no watering. Please hydrozone if you can. It saves water every time your water and your plants will be healthy.
